Hi, I am Aaron Scott Freed. I was born in Beaver, PA on November 2, 1983. I grew up in Chippewa Township, PA. My parents divorced when I was 4 years old, leaving my older sister and I to grow up under the loving care of our mother. At the age of 16, my mother remarried and we moved to the small town of Enon Valley, PA to live on an 87 acre farm. Since then I have become a huge outdoorsman. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, nature, farm work, hunting, fishing, camping, boating, swimming, building construction, computers, food, etc.

I graduated in 2002 from Blackhawk High School. After high school I attended NCST in New Castle, PA to obtain a degree in construction. After graduating I worked as a framer for 3 years then as the foremen for another 2 years. As business slowed I decided to make the move to a steel mill. Once I got in the steel mill my life practically ended due to my work schedule. I worked 12 hour shifts every day of the week. In 2008, I literally worked 12/7 from May until Thanksgiving Day. Money was good but wow does it take a tool on your; mentally and physically.

On April 15, 2009, I was involved in a car accident. I was hospitalized for 8 months and 10 days where most of my time was spent in the ICU. The entire incident changed the way I live and view life. I decided in 2012 that I need to do something for my future instead of sitting in a wheelchair, so I enrolled in college to gain a career I can do without stressing myself physically. After my first year of college and numerous struggles I started to push myself. That confidence showed me I could do anything if I believed. Shortly after I began to try and walk again. Months and months of progress is what has lead me to where I am today. I’m a motivated 32 years old in college trying to better my future for personal gain and the ones that love me.
